Feathered Friends Water Feature

This sweet Feathered Friends solar water feature has been made with birds in mind to encourage plenty of garden visitors.

With a gentle flow and shallow bowl, it allows safe access to water for smaller birds, while the two bird figurines gracing the bowl serve as an invitation.

The aged stone finish looks great in any garden, and the low voltage solar pump keeps water circulating with no need for mains wiring. Just place in direct sunlight to power the pump.

Please note: the pump performs best in summer when sunlight is at its strongest. To prevent frost damage, always empty out the water and store the whole product inside during cold weather.

Taking care of your water feature

Keep water topped up in the warmer months, but fully drain in the winter months to protect against frost damage. Adding a couple of capfuls of water treatment every few weeks will help prevent algae build up.

Clean regularly with a soft cloth and soapy water. Limescale on the solar panel can be removed with lemon juice. If you live in a hard water area, we would suggest filling the feature with collected rainwater or previously boiled water.
